Ghana Payroll Services & Solutions

Outsource the setup and management of your Ghana payroll, whether or not you have a Ghanaian entity

Setting up and managing payroll in Ghana

Ghana has a rapidly growing economy and is increasingly influential in the continent of Africa, making it an exciting place to do business and an attractive destination for foreign investment.

When expanding into Ghana, an important early step is likely to be hiring locally and establishing a payroll. However, these processes can be complex for foreign organizations to navigate. Language barriers, cultural differences, and unique sets of regulations can all add to the confusion.

A popular solution to this problem is to outsource your Ghanaian payroll setup and management to a specialist global PEO. At Horizons, we are experts in helping organizations expand into Ghana as smoothly as possible. We’ll handle your payroll setup and management, whether or not you have an established presence in the country already.

Why choose the Horizons payroll solution?

If you have an entity

Have you already set up a legal entity within Ghana? We can take all the complex payroll administration off your hands, helping you employ locally in accordance with local employment laws, managing HR, contracts, and any associated administration.

This service is well-suited to larger organizations and those who have already registered a presence in Ghana that could benefit from outsourced Ghana payroll and consultancy services.

If you don’t have an entity

If you don’t yet have a registered entity in Ghana, then we can provide a more comprehensive service option to get you up and running in the country. We can offer the use of our subsidiary in Ghana to act as employer of record for your hires so you don’t have to establish a legal entity yourself, saving you time.

Additionally, we will set up and run your Ghana payroll, handle any HR, compliance, and take care of all other associated work to ensure you can expand seamlessly into Ghana.

How to establish a Ghana payroll

Setting up a payroll in Ghana is a complex process, and you will need to deal with language, cultural, and procedural differences if you want to set it up yourself. You will need to first register an entity in Ghana, then register with the appropriate tax authorities, and so on.
